l'he City Council met in regular session Tuesday, dune lt., 1961
with all members present-Mayor presiding. Minutes were read
add approved.
4"he trash committee was asked to tell the trash men to pick
up dead animals. Mr. Gaylor was asked to find out what other
cities our size do about dogs without tags.
Motion by Mrs . Bostic to request T. P. & L. to re-light the
main street(Ballard) from Highway,78 to Jefferson. Second
by Mg. Parker. Motion carried.
M tion by Mr. Storey to extend the city limits on highway 78 to
one mile westoof present city limits sign. This will be 14 '
of a mile west of Wylie Butane and 300 feet east of Muddy
creek. Second by Mr. Parker. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Collins to finance police car through the
First State Bank, "ylie, 'Texas. Second by Mr. Storey.
Motion carried.
Mrs. Bostic submitted a plat of 19 lots on the east side of
Hilltop Lane. Mr. Collins moved the plat be sent to the
city engineer for study and suggestions. Second by Mr.
Storey. Motioh carried.
Motion by Mr Storey that city employees, Clifford Bellamy
and Horace MdGuire be paid on an hourly based et the rate
of $1.25 pr. hour effective June 19. 1961: Second by Mr.
Collins. Motion paraddd. .
