City Council met in regular session with Mayor Protem E.J.Parker and
following Council present JJ..Rabb Mrs John L Bostic J.R.Storey.
Mayor Parker read Engineers report on Inspection of Valentine Lane
And Memorial Dr. in Holiday Terrace Addition was Inspected on 7-13&15
1961. by Engineers.
Mayor Parker ask for motion for Special Election to be held to
Elect A Mayor to serve the un Expired Term of A.D..Boyd.Resined
Motion By J.R.Storey for Election to be held on the 9th Day of September
1961 and August the 8thbe######41#44 1961 be the last Day to File for
place on Ballot Motion Carried. W.O.Houston was Appointed Election ju DBE
Motion by J.A:.Rabb to Pay Elenburg Bros for Contract on First St. and
WEst Kirby And For Rock in Martinez Ditch Second by Mrs Bostic Motion
carried
