The Otiy Council of the City of Wylie met in regular session on the above date
with the following members being present. Mayor D.W. Click--Aldermen: W.D. Green
R.V. Groves, A.D. Boyd, J.E. Bowden, J.W. Nicholson., And W.W. Housewright, agect.
The Council opened with a discussion on the riot-o-way for Highway 78.
There was much conterversy about how the City could go about securing the property
that would be needed t for the highway. The Mayor appointed a two man
committy to see the county judge and our City attorney to see it if there was
anything the ftigtxtit county could do toward helping purchase this property.
The Sewage line in the south part of town was discussed in regard to how this
situation could be elinimated.
There were several complaints about the cleaning of the dry toilets in the City
and the water & sewage committye was to check into this matter.
With no further business the council adjourned.
