MINUTE
The City Council met March 3, 1962 with Mayor P-rker and three
councilmen present; Mrs . John L. B ostic, J. R. Storey and Ed
Collins . The meeting was called to order bM Mayor Parker.
Roll `,all . The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The resignation of Joe Rabb was accepted. otion made by J. R. Storey
and seconded by Mrs . John L. Bostic. Motion carried.
Ordinance # 62-3 was read and passed. This ordinance Rives the terms
of the election to(iheld on April 3, 1962._Votion was made by iv_rs . John
L. j ostic and seconded by J. tt. ; toi,ey. Motion carried.
Council approved item # 2. Private driveway policy, as ± ecorn ended
to be included in an Ordinance regulating private driveway crossings .
Council authorized the purchase of sewer cleaning equipment from
Flex-Rod Tool Company. Motion made by J. R. Storey and seconded
by Ed Collins . Motion carried.
!,lotion made by Ed Collins and seconded by J. A. Storey for the
equalization board to select another man to help with the tax roll .
The Council adooted the budget subject to a public hearing which will
be held at 3Otclock on March 13th 1962 . J. Storey made motion
and Ed Collins seconded it. Motion carried.
Call John Stiff to work-out a contract with the Garland dump ground
for the u'VyLie trash. The Counci J_ ask the i.'_anager to make ar estivate
of the tdinage that would be hauled each month.
otion was made by Ed Collins and seconded by J. H. Story that we
accept the name of the new addition in the East part of town as the
Wylwood Estates . Motion carried.
Council ask city manager to check with the city attorney on the
zoning, ordinance as tkm to when it would be ready.
With no further business the meetin adjourned.
